Ed Fletcher papers, 1870-1955, 1920-1950 (bulk).

Documentation of all aspects of Ed Fletcher's business career, particularly his water-related enterprises. Also included is a large group of photographs documenting the Fletcher family, various dam construction projects, and San Diego buildings and views. Also includes extensive correspondence, legal documents, reports on hydraulics, drafts of articles, maps, and blueprints. The Writings series contains many documents on the history of San Diego County and its water supply. Memorabilia includes an illustrated diary of Fletcher's 1919 trip to Baja California. The scrapbooks of clippings relate primarily to legislative affairs and activities of the Ed Fletcher Company.

Papers of prominent San Diego businessman Colonel Edward ("Ed") Fletcher (1872-1955), a land developer, civic leader, and member of the California State Senate (1934-1946).
